How to process lychee as medicine

There are many ways: from fresh or dried lychee. Usually using the drying method:

Long lychee: Dry ripe lychee on a charcoal stove, until the fruit peel is evenly dry, the lychee pulp separates from the peel, shaking makes a rattling sound. Take it out and peel off the pulp. Processed this way, the lychee pulp has a slightly gray color and a rich sweet taste.

Lychee seeds: Wash the lychee seeds, drain, cut off the navel, peel off the hard, brown outer shell. Slice the root lengthwise into thin slices of 3-5mm, dry in the sun or dry in a dryer. When using, roast until golden brown. According to traditional medicine, lychee has a sweet, sour taste, warm properties, and affects the spleen and liver meridians.

It has the effect of nourishing blood, benefiting qi, generating body fluids, and relieving thirst. It can be used alone or in combination with other blood-enriching herbs, such as angelica, white peony, rehmannia glutinosa, etc. in cases of body weakness, pale skin, emaciation, or in cases of recent illness or fatigue. It also has the effect of reducing swelling, treating boils, and making measles and chickenpox easier to grow. Lychee seeds have a slightly bitter, astringent, slightly sweet taste, warm properties, affect the liver and kidney meridians, and have the effect of warming the middle, promoting qi, relieving pain, and dispersing stagnation. It is used in cases of stomach pain, dysentery, dysentery, and nausea.

Some remedies from lychee:

Stomach ache, nausea: roast lychee seeds, peel off the outer shell and eat about 6 – 8g/time. 2 times a day.

You can also use only lychee seeds, burn them into charcoal, mix with alcohol to drink, with a dose of 4-6g. Or take lychee seeds processed as above, tangerine peel, equal in amount 10g, stir-fry until golden brown, sulfur 3g. Use in the form of fine powder. Divide into 2 doses to drink during the day.

Diarrhea due to spleen deficiency: 7 lychees, 5 jujubes. Boil to get water to drink many times a day.

Treat hiccups: 7 lychees, 6g fresh ginger, 4g brown sugar. Boil to drink.

Swollen and painful teeth: Green lychees, add a little salt or burn to ash, grind finely, rub on the tooth roots.
