3. How to make ginger, lemon, and lemongrass water to increase resistance

3.1. Ingredients

– 1 lemon
– 2 – 3 lemongrass stalks
– 50g ginger
– 20 – 40g rock sugar
– ¼ teaspoon salt

3.2. Preparation

Step 1: Peel off the old outer skin of the lemongrass, remove the green leaves on top, wash it, cut into 7 – 10cm pieces, then crush it. Wash the ginger, keep the skin, cut into 0.5cm slices, then crush it. Wash the lemon, squeeze out the juice (if you want it sour, you can add about half a lemon).

Step 2: Add about 1.5 – 2 liters of water to boil, add rock sugar, boil until the water boils, the rock sugar dissolves, then add lemongrass, boil for about 3 – 5 minutes, then add ginger, boil for another 1 – 2 minutes and turn off the stove. At this point, add the prepared small amount of salt and let it cool.

Step 3: Place the pot on the stove and cover for 30 minutes. Then, remove the residue in the pot and filter the water through a sieve again to remove small residues and let it cool.

Step 4: After the ginger and lemongrass water has cooled completely, add lemon juice. Note to adjust the taste of the water to your own taste. If you find it not sweet enough, you can add more sugar but be careful not to make it too sweet, eating too much sugar is not good. Ginger, lemon, and lemongrass water can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
